Boxed Set of 6 Narex 8105 Bevel Edged Chisels
These Czech made chisels are accurately CNC machined on new, well maintained equipment and although the sides are a fraction thicker than I’d like, they are finer than most and have the light pointable feel of a proper bevel edged chisel.Made from isothermally hardened chrome manganese spring steel which is vastly superior to chrome vanadium, the blades are ground fractionally hollow so they are quick and easy to prepare.
Chisels in this price range are often only hardened for the first 35% of the blade, whereas Narex harden them to a very acceptable RC59 +/-1 for 75% of the blade length.
