A timeless Sheffield classic blade shape with a straight edge and a rounded back that curves down to meet it. Wharncliffes were popular with sailors, which provides an empirical answer to the question 'if you could only have one whittling knife what would it be?'

Stainless suminagashi (folded steel) with a VG10 core, shapely walnut handles and brass bolsters, produced under the direction of Master craftsman Masui Hiroaki at Hiro Knives Co., Ltd. in Seki-City, Japan.

Straight edge, double convex bevel, small secondary bevel.
