Thuya Burrs

Thuya burrs (Tetraclinis articulata), from the tree root, originate from the Atlas mountain region, mainly Morocco. 

The grain is predominantly swirled and irregular with a fine to medium texture and lovely natural lustre.

Ideally worked by hand with very sharp tools, to avoid tearout like most burrs, you will notice a distinctive pleasant smell rather like cedar.
