High clarity refined 192 gram strength hide glue that's a great all-rounder for general woodworking. Its real stand-out perfomance will be when it's used for veneering due to its long open time and future reversibility with water and heat.
A natural, non-toxic granulated version of the more traditional hard sheet format, this is very easily mixed, equal parts with cold water; and, after a short soak which turns it into an almost gelatinous texture, can be added to the double boiler glue pot to heat to 60°C /140°F. This can then be left to cool and re-heated as often as necessary, though you may need to add a bit of water as necessary to keep viscosity thin.
