Pinie® Cam action wooden F clamps are possibly one of the most underrated tools in woodworking. A simple cam mechanism provides adequate pressure to hold accurately made parts together for gluing, while the cork jaw pads protect surfaces from being marred in the process, perfect for situations where delicate clamping is required and because they are nice and cheap you can have plenty of them.
As well as routine clamping the beech heads can also be screwed to boards to make assembly jigs, or you can screw temporary cauls to them for tricky shaped and angled work - corresponding bandsaw offcuts are ideal.
