A simple, elegant and highly effective tool for producing lines perpendicular to straight, concave or convex edges.
The centre finder has two dowels that locate against a curved surface and a straight edge that gives a line at right angles to the edge.
To find the centre of a circular or near circular object simply mark two lines from different points on the circumference, the point at which they intersect is the centre.
Solid brass, finished to a very high standard, the centre finder is 5¼ inches long overall. Excellent for inlaid borders, turnery and also functions as a highly accurate square.
