A larger size than we normally carry, the supplier had a few left over from another batch. There might be a small dent or a run in the finish here and there but nothing that will affect their use.
These beautiful round mallets are turned from select billets of fine native beech.
The handle fills the hand beautifully, giving a wonderful sense of comfort and control and the balance is spot on for light to medium blows, perfect for larger carvings in stone or wood.
The handle is secured in the traditional manner by a full length wedged through tenon.
