A heavy duty high tension hacksaw frame made from powder coated cast aluminium with an overmoulded rubber grip. Dual attachment points allow the blade to be set parallel to the frame or at 45 degrees.
The real magic though is in the Starrett blades, made from an electron beam welded sandwich of HSS and carbon steel they chomp through unhardened ferrous and non-ferrous metals with astonishing smoothness and accuracy.
Supplied with 1 x 18tpi and 1 x 24tpi Starrett Bi-Metal Unique Safe Flex HSS blades.
18tpi is suitable for material 3mm – 11mm,
24tpi for material 5mm – 13mm thick.
