The Thor 712 is a multi-purpose striking tool with easily interchangeable screw-in faces, fitted as standard with one hard (white) and one soft (grey).
The 'Thorex' mallet has become a toolbox staple for all sorts of trades; engineering, plumbing, furniture making, stage fitting, exhibition stand building, it is also an excellent choice if you don't want to mash up the nice handles on your chisels.
The head is chrome plated steel with solid moulded screw in faces, so no threaded rod to find its way out through the face, the natural ash wood handle effectively dampens vibration and prevents it from travelling back up your arm.
Screw in replacement faces are available in a range of densities: soft (grey), tough (brown), medium (red), hard (white), well hard (yellow)
