The scissors and snips/nigiri featured here are all made in Japan and, as price is a good indicator of the amount of time and experience that has gone into their production, the fully handmade laminated white paper steel scissors from Tajika Haruo Scissor Works are the absolute zenith and worth every last penny.

The snips featured here are all individually hand forged in Japan and excel at placing very accurate cuts in soft materials. The Japanese appreciate the delicacy and precision that can be achieved when pinching the blades directly between forefinger and thumb so the spring design is also preferred for bonsai and topiary.
