Dougan are better known for applying their knowledge of traditional scissor making to the production of excellent quality garden shears, but if asked they will still make their original product; these gorgeous fully handmade white paper steel fabric shears.

The laminated blades are forged from a combination of soft iron and high-quality blade steel (Hitachi Yasugi White Steel). The edge steel is very hard, so it will retain its sharpness for a long time. However, since the blade is sharpened primarily to cut thin fabrics, please note that the sharpness may decrease if you cut paper repeatedly.
