The cleverly designed Shinwa aluminium sliding bevel can be rotated through a full 360° and locked at any position.
An angle scale is provided allowing angles to be set or measured within a 20 -135° range. The scale is covered with a special tape that be written on with a pencil and rubbed clean with a finger, so you can note angles taken by direct measurement. On the other edge is a 600mm scale in full mm allowing the bevel to double as a rule and depth gauge.
Simple and surprisingly accurate, the braced design with large locking screw feels safe, solid and rigid when set.
