The corner chisel or bruzze is used to pare material from round holes or radiused corners to make them square.
Originally a wheelwright's tool, they fulfil a similar function to the chisel part of a hollow chisel morticer - but in the world of unplugged woodworking the drilling of the hole and squaring it up are separate operations.
