Cut from pure coticule, these fine handmade slipstones give a superlative finish on the inner surfaces of carving gouges
The stones follow the natural shapes available in the rock; each one is unique, crafted by hand and eye with one rounded edge and one knife like edge, if necessary, the profiles can be tweaked to suit your needs by shaping with 120grit sandpaper. The curve only needs to be tighter than the radius of the tool, not an exact match.
