These gorgeous little nigiri hasami Japanese scissors are cleverly manufactured with a loose rivet through the bow that simultaneously holds a spring and keeps the hollow ground high carbon steel blades engaged and under just the right tension.
Misuzu also make beautiful hand forged scissors, so the non-traditional design and manufacture of these has been carried out by people with a deep understanding of how a good pair of scissors are put together, they cut beautifully.
