Made from solid ebony, with a brass lever cap and an excellent HSS blade, this little plane creates a 3mm wide 45 degree chamfer and then bottoms out, ensuring a uniform result.
The size of the chamfer can be reduced if necessary by filing away a little material at the bottom of the V groove in the sole.
