Narex Dowelling Jig

Used to locate dowel pins for neatly and invisibly joining boards and sheet goods together.  Terribly old fashioned, but it does the job and if you're just building some cabinets or jigs for the workshop, dowel joinery is an excellent tried and tested choice.

Simply twist the jig onto the end or edge of a board to drill a perfectly centred 8mm hole every six to eight inches (positions along the edge can be eyeballed). Lay the boards on top of each other and use the other face of the jig to create corresponding holes in the other board - simple.

Supplied with 8mm drill bit and depth collar.
