Winner of three international gold medals, the original Autosol (formerly Solvol-Autosol) metal polish was first formulated by Otto Durst in Germany in 1929. Autosol uses chemistry rather than abrasion to clean away tarnishing, heat bluing, minor rust stains and leaves a deep, long lasting shine.
Applied with a soft cloth or brush and buffed to a rich lustrous finish, Autosol leaves behind a thin wax coating that protects the surface.
The manufacturers do not recommend using Autosol for unlacquered mirror finish alloy wheels, anodized aluminium or chrome finished plastic.
