Drawing and turning the burrs on your cabinet scrapers becomes a real pleasure with this elegant tool.
Handled in hardwood with a beautifully turned and polished brass hilt, the Clifton burnisher has a much finer surface finish than most commercial burnishers. No further polishing is required, just a touch of lubrication to prevent galling and away you go.
Once drawn, the burrs can be re-burnished several times before you need to file the edge and draw a new burr. Burnishing also hardens the steel at the edge making the burr last longer.
Made from polished carbon steel, hardened to RC62.
