The Arno Cabinet Scraper Set covers the full range of scraping tasks in one practical set: from heavy stock removal through to fine surface preparation and detailed profile work. Each scraper has a distinct role:
- 1mm scraper (stiff) - the go-to for removing old finishes, cleaning up machine marks, levelling across joints and any job you'd otherwise tackle with 80 grit sandpaper
- 0.6mm scraper (flexible) - prepares flat or convex surfaces for finishing, equivalent to working through 180 to 400 grit but in considerably less time and with a superior result
- 0.4mm scraper (extra flexible) - takes surface preparation to the next stage, particularly well suited to finishing boards where the finest possible surface matters
- Gooseneck scraper - shaped to a French curve profile, it fits a wide range of mouldings and curved pieces, and allows careful repair work on finished surfaces without touching the surrounding area
