A versatile general purpose folding Japanese saw with quick and easy one hand opening – just touch the blade tip onto a suitable surface and lightly press. A two-step angle adjustment allows the blade to be securely adjusted in an upward position for improved access while maintaining grip.
This Crosscut blade has additional rip teeth spread uniformly along the length of the blade for a Universal tooth set. With tooth size becoming smaller as it gets closer to the handle the result is a more powerful cut as you start cutting with full strokes.
For smooth, precise cuts, maintain an angle of about 10° between the saw blade and the material but for thinner materials like plywood, reduce the angle to around 5° to ensure a clean cut.
If you’re not planning to use the saw for an extended period, lightly oil the blade to keep it in optimal condition and store it in a dry place to prevent rust.
