HNT Gordon Tail Vice Dogs are made from solid brass with a ½" shaft and ¾" square head.
One of the head edges is curved slightly and angled at 2 degrees to allow for a better bite in the held wood if required.
Dogs are available in 1mm, ⅛", ¼", ½" and ¾" head heights.

If you need to hold components thinner than 2mm for planing, we recommend securing a thicker piece of accurately planed scrap between the dogs and supergluing one end of the workpiece to it, such that the timber is held in tension by the action of the plane.
