A straightforward, well made, good quality manual vernier caliper.
The thing that I like about this particular model is that the vernier scale is a generous 50mm long, so you get resolution of 0.02mm but it is as easy to read as a rule with just whole mm graduations.
On the top, it also has a 1.25 inch long imperial vernier scale giving thousandths of an inch.
The sliding jaw is accurately ground from a solid block of hardened stainless steel (monoblock) and the relieved faces of the scale read correctly and consistently, whether you are stronger with your left eye or right eye (parallax free).
