URKO 213 Coaxial Clamps are operated by a twist grip on the rail, similar to a motorbike throttle, that keeps it neatly out of the way. As well as assembly tasks they are excellent for repair work where access is restricted. The heads are made from sturdy glass reinforced nylon with rubber faces to provide generous 85mm x 35mm parallel clamping surfaces with a delicate touch.
Twisting the grip before you place the clamp engages a ratchet like mechanism which allows the jaws to slide together but not open, so you can push them into position and then just twist to apply the desired pressure. Gentle enough for antique restoration, tough enough for use in industrial, construction and marine environments.
