The Super Kenryu pruning saw is a tree surgeon's scalpel, harmoniously blending Japanese sawmaking tradition and state-of-the-art grinding technology.
The replaceable blade is taper ground with no set, so it leaves an extra clean cut surface on the living tree that minimises the risk of infection. Every fourth tooth is fractionally longer (hijirime) so it scores the material ahead of the cut and clears debris further improving the cleanliness of the cut. The large teeth cut rapidly and efficiently, reducing the risk of splitting when removing limbs under load and minimising user fatigue.
The beech handle and sheath are naturally antibacterial; kind to both the user's skin and the patient. A natural leather belt loop and securing strap with press stud closure allows for easy one handed use, leaving your other hand free to hold on when working at height.
