Fujikawa professional Japanese bench chisels are an absolute delight to use. Light, beautifully balanced and breathtakingly sharp, they are individually handmade in the finest traditions of Japanese toolsmithing.

The trademark of a gourd with a ribbon around it is a traditional luck bringing item, much like the horseshoe in our culture. Some people in Japan still hang such gourds outside their houses. The struck mark beside the gourd on the backs of the blades is the Kanji for hand forged.
