K-MET engineers' draughting squares are milled from 3mm thick steel plate with precision ground edges. This is a more reliable, durable and accurate alternative to plastic squares.
Three millimetres of milled steel holds its geometry. It won't flex under pressure, wear at the edges or drift out of true over time the way a plastic square inevitably will. For anyone marking out joinery, setting machinery or doing precise layout work, that consistency is worth having.
The squares have ground edges that register cleanly against the work and are substantial enough to stay put while marking out without clamping.
