Misuzu Nigiri Japanese Snips - Oxidised Black Shirogami Long, blade length 45mm, used for:

- General snipping around the kitchen or workshop where a touch more reach is useful
- Light craft and hobby work where precision still matters but the cut runs a little longer

These Misuzu Nigiri Japanese snips are hand forged in Japan from a composite of Yasugi Shirogami White Steel No.1 and mild steel, finished in black oxidised Ibushi for added corrosion resistance. Held pinched between forefinger and thumb rather than through finger loops, they give a level of tip control that a pivot scissor cannot match.
Note: Even though the surface has a rust resistant Ibushi finish, we always recommend they should be kept clean and lightly oiled.
