The Narex carving drawknife has the same lovely nimble hollow ground blade as the straight version, narrow enough to get into fairly tight spots and very easy to put a razor edge on.
The difference is the 'sit up and beg' style handles give greater leverage and control over a smaller range of movement making this one preferable for lighter and finer work.
Tempered to 55HRC (knife hard rather than chisel hard) so it can be maintained with a strop and an occasional tickle with a waterstone. The supplied sheath is excellent, supple natural leather, saddle stitched and rivetted with press stud closures.
