The Newtown Pattern is most popular shape of billhook by some margin, much loved by England's hedgelayers and woodsmen (and woodswomen). 

Hand forged by Ray Iles from EN47 oil hardening tool steel, the heavy blade is a full 7mm thick at the spine and holds an edge beautifully; it's tang extends right through the reinforced ash handle and is peined over a washer so it can't come off.
