Yanipika Sap Remover is specially formulated to quickly remove sap and pitch from the blades of garden shears and saws. The powerful active cleaning agent neutralises the sticky compounds found in pitch and resin so even hardened deposits will break down with very little effort to leave the surface clean and smooth.
By removing any resin build-up and surface contamination, Yanipika leaves a smooth blade finish to reduce friction and further resin adhesion to help maintain blade performance.
Application:
- Spray YANIPIKA directly onto the blade careful not to inhale the liquid or touch with bare hands.
- Leave it for about 20 seconds - though if sap is built up or has already solidified it can be left for longer.
- You may notice that the colour of the sap will change as the liquid takes effect.
- Wipe clean and polish with a dry cloth.
- While YANIPIKA contains an anticorrosive substance, it is not enough to prevent rusting so we would recommend a touch of camellia oil to coat your blade when storing.
